This award winning limited edition release from Lindores Abbey has been matured exclusively in bourbon barrels, showcasing one of the three primary cask types utilized by the distillery when creating their MCDXCIV (1494) single malt. The resulting spirit exhibits ample bourbon character, delivering pronounced notes of vanilla and sweet spices.
Nose: Mellow fruity apples, ripe banana, sweet pears and vanilla, buttercream and caramel notes with subtle citrus touches
Palate: Fruity green apples, citrus lemon, banana, oaky woody notes, coffee beans and spicy peppery touches. Silky texture
