Expertly crafted from Raasay’s lightly peated spirit and matured in ex Frazitta Marsala Vergine casks, before being bottled at a robust 50.7% ABV. This whisky is laden with flavours of baked apples with apricots and lingering smoked toffee. This release represents a unique confluence of Sicilian wine heritage and modern Scottish whisky craftsmanship, resulting in a rare and highly collectible expression.
Nose: Grape must, sweet, slight sharpness, parma violets

Description
The Isle of Raasay (Old Norse for roe deer island) lies off the west coast of Scotland in the Inner Hebrides, a short 25 minute ferry journey from Sconser on the Isle of Skye. This corner of the world is known for its breathtaking natural beauty, exaggerated landscapes, impressive geology, and one of Scotland’s most incredibly diverse ecosystems.
Rooted in centuries of illicit distilling, the Hebridean Isle of Raasay provides the ingredients for the perfect dram. Illicit distilling is said to have taken place here as recently as 1850, with archaeological evidence of a collapsed still on the island.
In 2017, more than 150 years later, whisky distilling returned to Raasay. This time legally.
