The High Ester Rum is an unaged spirit that packs a serious tropical punch. Distilled in West Auckland, this rum skips the wood aging to let the raw, vibrant flavors of the fermentation process take center stage.

The bold character of this rum comes from a meticulous 192-hour fermentation using a dual yeast blend and fresh dunder (a traditional flavor booster). It’s bottled at 46% ABV, providing enough backbone to carry its complex esters without being overwhelming.

Nose: Fresh cut pineapple, milk chocolate, clean esters, butter candy

Body: Pineapple lumps, chewy and well textured, butterscotch and caramel

Finish: Lingering spice, long and moreish
